The rules and regulations abided and enforced upon Installment Icarus's administrative team are available in order to provide a better understanding of how the administrative team runs behind the scenes. Every member of the administrative team must conduct themselves in accordance to these regulations, upholding them to maintain a fair and just environment for the members of the community.
AR-1.1: All major decisions made by administrators must include consensus with judgement of no less than two of their peers. Major decisions include the following actions; Kicks, bans, timeouts, removal of rules, addition of rules, transition of power, removal of a member from power, transition of a member into power, etc. If it isn't a mute or a warn, it probably requires a major decision.
AR-1.2: Any major action taken must be in favor of majority rule, of no less than 3 administrators, and independent of whichever administrator the issue was brought to first.
AR-1.3: Abuse of power is not tolerated. Any action taken against members without a legitimate reason, or consensus of the administrative peers will have their authority stripped without question.
AR-2.1: Any decisions made on account of misconduct or minor infractions are to be dealt with by appropriate manner, including no cruel or unusual punishment, and shall be reviewed by no more than two administrative peers.
AR-2.2: Hosts, in their operations, are responsible and accountable for ensuring all standards are maintained and met. In this, they are administrators for the time being of their operations, and are responsible for accounting for the safety of others. Abuse of power by hosts is not tolerated. They are also administrative peers in the time of their operations, and are to be included and entrusted in decisions concerning members or issues relating or affecting their operations.
AR 3.1: Administrative decisions are to be made in accordance with all standards, expectations, and regulations.
AR 3.2: All administrative decisions and procedures are not to be made publicly available until final judgment is reached. Any administrators caught leaking information about ongoing issues will be removed from authority.
AR 3.3: All administrative decisions concerning issues related to members and staff discourse should be resolved peacefully and promptly. Any aggressive or hostile conduct made by administrators will be subject to disciplinary action based on severity.
AR 3.4: All administrative decisions made by the administrative team are final, but subject to change at any time, by review of the case, no less than two administrators, and of appeal of the member affected.
